I have been putting my motor together in the last couple of days. It has been about 4 months since I took it apart and I have run into a problem. There is a thick washer that I am not sure where it goes. I am sure it goes somewhere in the head probably with the valve train. Here are some pics of it. Click on the links.

I have never seen that washer on any b-series head. If im not mistaken that washer looks identical to the one that goes between the crank pulley and bolt. Hope this helps. good luck with your build.

This is what I think it is too. I will take a pic of one off my b16 and we can compare.

um, its either the fuel rail spacer, or the washer that goes on the cam gear bolt

 

its looks more like the fuel rail washer. about the same size.

 

It's not the fuel rail spacer. I didn't even take my fuel rail off. I really think it goes on the head somewhere.
