alright tonight we had a flodd and i drove through some deep water puddles on my 91 honda civic lx and it sounds fine when i shift into 1st gear and take off but once i hit 2nd gear i hear a whinning noise as if i have a turbo or something but 3rd,4th.,5th gears are perfectly fine.... could you possibly tell me what the problem is... any repsonses would greatly be appreciated

 

Whining...as in possibly a belt getting wet and squealing? Is it constant, or only in second gear? The only thing I can think of is that your alternator belt or ac belt got wet...

 

now when i sit in neutral i hear a clicking noise but when i push my clutch in the noise seems to stop...what could the problem possibly be....???

 

I dont know.......it happens to me sometimes too....keep me posted....

for some odd reason i think water is in my tranny that is making the noise... how would i be able to get the water out of it
