Who is using the two stage mbc made from parts from Grainger?
I would have searched, but I can't get the archives now. Someone on here once posted a two way mbc they got at Grainger. It was two pressure regulators with an electric switch that choose which regulator you were using. Does anybody have any idea? It allows a low boost/high boost setting with the flip of a switch? Anybody?
Thanks in advance,

That's not exactly what I've got but it sounds very similar. I built a 2 stage controller using a Grainger ball/spring valve and a stock Honda air conditioner idle vacuum solenoid. Basically, low boost control is set by the wastgate actuator at 5psi when it sees full boost signal (the line that goes through the solenoid). The button is a momentary contact button mounted under the gas pedal, so it only engages at full throttle + 1/2 inch pedal travel. When the button is pressed, the solenoid closes, and the boost signal then travels through the Grainger valve, which is tuned for 10psi. Here's a picture of it:
You're looking through the drivers side fenderwell at the side of the turbo. The brass part is the Grainger valve. The round thing with the red wire is the solenoid (usually found mounted on the firewall near the intake manifold on older Hondas). There is a very small (.040") hole drilled in the 'Y' connection after the boost controllers to allow the wastegate to snap shut quickly when you lift. Simple, effective, and nearly free. Can't beat it!
