I finally improved my 1/4 time...i got rid of my wheel hop..it was awesome. All I did differently from my last time was that i lit up the tires before each run. I am very happy...very happy indeed! My previous times before this day were crappy....consistent 16.0....but tonight...i ran 3 consecutive 15.8s....that night...i beat an Si and the new Sentra SE-R Vspec....

i guess the weight factors in a lot here

when i first got my b18b in my 93 hatch i ran 15.7's all night with 2.4 60'. mind you i ran on shitty federal tires with NO tread, so NO traction.

second time i went i ran with toyo t1s'. they hooked up a lot better then the others. my sixty foot actually increased to 2.1 and i ran a best at 15.171 @ 94

i just installed a CAI and will run to see if any improvement occured, i think it is just mental

 

remember my car weighed in at 2500 with me in it.

15.0 with a 2.3 60 ft. in a 2400 car w/o driver all i have is an I/E/clutch. i want to hit 14's soon its just i have to improve my 60 fts.
