Default I improved my 1/4 time! 2000 Civic EX/B18b

I finally improved my 1/4 time...i got rid of my wheel hop..it was awesome. All I did differently from my last time was that i lit up the tires before each run. I am very happy...very happy indeed! My previous times before this day were crappy....consistent 16.0....but tonight...i ran 3 consecutive 15.8s....that night...i beat an Si and the new Sentra SE-R Vspec....
ME ------------------- Civic Si
60'=2.477 ------------ 60'=2.605
1/4=15.888 ------------ 1/4=16.113
MPH=86.72 ------------ MPH=86.73

ME ------------------- Eclipse RS
60'=2.448 ------------- 60'=2.872
1/4=15.881 ------------ 1/4=18.418
MPH=86.87 ------------ MPH=76.82

Me -------------------- SE-R Vspec
60'=2.438 ---------------- 60'=2.679
1/4=15.887 --------------- 1/4=16.075
MPH=86.44 -------------- MPH=87.38

Hate to tell you this, but ALL the cars you raced have much better times in em. Look at thier 60 foot times.. My god that it ***. You have room for improvment also at 2.4... Take this for example.. Generally speaking, 1 tenth off the 60ft adds up to about 2 tenths in the 1/4.. Those cars you raced should have easily cracked off 2.3's which means they can drop about .6 off thier 1/4 mile time... Keep practicing.

Good consistant times! What RPM are you launching at? You might be able to bring your times down a little bit... good work!

I launched my car at 2800, when i lit up the tires it helped out alot, I had no idea it would help that much. When i launched, it just went, not even a chirp. I was like..holy fo shizzle bam dizzle.

Bounce off the rev limiter when launching at 4000 RPM? Time for a better clutch.

no, time not to mash it. let the clutch out at 4000 and kinda slip it, dont just drop the clutch and mash the pedal. it's about the finesse, man...

Good 60' times? Haha. Dood, that's the biggest problem with his time slip right there. A 2.6 is horrible. I was cutting off 2.3's my first time at the track in my Prelude.. after 2 more tries, I was putting down 2.2's. And this is stock.
