Default Widest rubber without rubbing

Isn't a 225 the widest you can go? King Motorsport's ITR they had in that Car & Driver issue had the 16" MF10s with 225/45 or 40 Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Position tires. Does Yokohama make that A032R tire anymore?

well it depends on what size rims you are going with. With correct offset, you can run a 225 tire on the ITR without rubbing.

The A032R's are still available and on stock USDM ITR wheels I think that you can get away with 205/45 or 205/40/15

The A032R is available from tirerack and costs $135 in a 205/50/15, which is the proper size if you want to maintain your speedometer readings.

205/50/15 is the best size, IMO, but I have seen people run 215s without problems. It's going to depend on the specific tire chosen, because it will vary from mfg. to mfg. Speedo will be a little more off than 205/50 though.

I have 225/45R16 on JDM rims

This is the absolute widest possible w/o rubbing.
