I can have one for cheap, for a d16z6 ( I will put it on my d15b, but it's the same head as the z6 )

does it need modification to the actual internal coil setup?

or the MSD Cap at least, this would be similar ?

Any setup running on a external coil !!
I ttied the search as usual but everybody knows that it dosn't work, and I need infon on this soon cause I might buy somethime this week.

Just installed mine. I have a HI 6 with the fireball coil. I used the MSD stem that you use on the factory Diz cap you just drill a hole where the orginal internal coil went and add the stem very e-z. You need to remove the internal coil. Take the pos+ and neg- teminals and run them into the ignition, then it has 2 output wires that go to the coil. run a pos+ wire and a ground- and your done. I dont believe you can use the ignition with the stock coil but you can run an aftermarket coil with out the ignition
