anyone know how to fix the idle prob? its idling really rough at about 500 rpms when im a stop. i checked all the vaccum lines. wat else could it be?

Yea i have the same prob with my 92... checked all vacume lines as well... It tends to jump up to 1500 once in a while... Any Ideas?

first off, are ya'll getting a check engine light?

second, it could be a number of things. since you've already checked your vacuum lines, lets go with the easy stuff first.

1. check your air filter, make sure it's not nasty as hell.
2. check your throttle cable, see if it's too loose. (they are a little loose stock)
3. ***adjust your idle with idle adjusting screw on the side of the throttle body*** (***this will probably fix it***)
4. intake air temperature sensor
5. idle air control valve
6. fast idle valve
