it sounds like u are in good shape, check to see if your ecu is the right on u need, also replace the hoses,belts,and anything else that needs replacing

How come you have the 1st gen valve cover? I thought Sir 2's said VTEC bigger than DOHC. I know they can be switched,I was just curious.

Also has a 1st gen driver side motor mount? Hmmm...even though the dist and the IM is sir2 maybe you got jerked? ;x

Im drunk right now, but I believe OBD-1 is grey plugged... I saw that you said you had the proper harness/wiring, so their shouldn't be a problem.
