My friend just got his Rev Hard equal length stainless steel manifold in the mail today. From what ive see on this board, it looks EXACTLY like the OBX, MENG, SPARKS, etc. equal lengths. It was a full rev hard kit so there cant be any mistake that it was replaced since it came from Rev hard itself. The only thing thats diff, is it looks like Rev Hard welds reinforcement bars from the flange for the turbo tot he flange that bolts to the head. weird...

yeah i guess it looks just similar. but for 1000 dolalrs for that manifold, the build quality isnt all that. burrs everwhere, and iam absolutely SURE that the flanged that bolts to the head is the SAME as the MENG and SPARKS. And the rev hard manifold is made in thailand with myles bautistas design.

 

Unfortunately, We were asked by some Asian guy for a sample so he can give us a quote. A couple of months later we started seeing it in advertisements and other shops selling our design. These peoples' motto is "Why reinvent the wheel." Why can't people just come up with their own design. If your going to copy something, at least make an effort to make it better! These are the same people we were buying those pipes and flanges from. So from now on, we would rather go back to the heavy gauge mild steel.

 

how come the wastegate tube doesnt have a flange on it?

well im sure that if you told them which flange to go with they are still gonna charge you to weld it on.

IMHO if i were to spend a G on a manifold, i would not get the rev hard one. full race all the way. rev hard kit is nice , like my 2c, but their customer service sucks, they have bad attitudes especially ryan, like to not answer phones, like to lie, they can go to hell. i have waited a month and a half for my complete kit. still missing manifold, dowpipe and coupings. they told me one week downtime...bullshit.

Who told you one week? You don't have to start bashing now. We hardly make those tubular manifolds that you requested and you did not order it from us. Therefore we couldn't give you a definite answer because we don't know how far down you are from the list of the guys you ordered from. You can always call that other company and see if they can custom make you anything. Especially a manifold that can outlast-outperform theirs.

Not trying to bash anyone but:
1. That's really not the way customer relations should be (I have a 800k/yr business so dont' say I dont' know how to deal with customers).
2. Full-Race will custom make a manifold to order. I got one of theirs, it's pretty damn good.



Note: Again, not trying to bash anyone or advocate any business. Trying to help actually.

 

ryan told john at afterhourz it was a one week wait for the kit. One weeks turns into four and a half. i will take my business elsewhere next time.

by the way, geoff is a great person, he even helped me with some of the questions i had even though i did not buy his manifold yet. next manifold i get will be his (which is CUSTOM made) with a gt30 turbo.
