so i got myself a ZC(DOHC version) throttle body from a junked integra and i would like to know the size and wether or not it will fit on my civic(d16z6) the car i got it off of was a pre 94 integra(did these come with ZCs in the states?) thanks.

ps i posted here because you guys seem to know more about the ZC than any other forums here.

 

No cars in the states came with ZCs. I know for a fact the D16A6, CRX Si, throttle body is a perfect fit.

 

He got it off a D16a1 which is nearly identical.

 

thats exactly what i thought, thats why i didn't even bother worrying about it until after i got it off. i looked at the engine code and sure enough there it said "ZC" its sitting there in an integra "lsR" thats been stripped except the engine(i got the TB) so maybe the guys engine blew and he needed a cheap replacement. since the ZCs are pretty rare, is there anything i should get off of it that could be worth something to someone? im going back today since i lost my cellphone there so i will look again.

 

D16a6 and the ZC TB are the same. The D16Z6 is NOT the same. You can use one from any B motor to fit a D16a6 motor but they will not fit the D16z6 or D16y8.

 

I'm not 100% sure but I dont think the 1g B16a throttle bodys will fit on A6 intake manifolds, the alignment is different.

92+ B/D t-bodys can be swapped for sure though..

I got a TB off of a 88 cr-x si motor can I bore it out and use it on my ZC????

 

yup, a6 and zc t-bodys are the same
