This is on a 94 dx Hb with a D16z6, Greddy turbo kit, hondata s200 and rc 440's. This is really weird. It happend right before i left the dyno when we installed the s200 and then it reset. Now 2 weeks later it has happened again. I'm not sure what is causing it. Any help is greatly appreciate it.

code 21 is vtec solenoid valve. Your vtec sol. might be going bad or it is clogged up or you could be low on oil.

 

If I remember right, CEL 21 is for VTEC. Since your car was originally a DX, I would double check that the wire(pin in the harness) you added for the VTEC is properly in its position in the harness. Sometimes they come loose. Double check that. Maybe when you were messing with the ecu, you accidently pulled the wire and now it's sliding in and out of the harness. That would be my guess. Thanks for the reply guys. It looks like it is a loose wire clip in the harness. I gave it a tweak and it started right up with no cel. Im going to replace that pin tomorrow. Thanks again
