while i am at work today, my dad walks up to me and tosses me a HKS "looking" mushroom air filter, when i first saw it i though it was an actual HKS filter, so i asked him "WTF?" i noticed it was a Ractive filter and told me to go help some guys that they were trying to make an intake..... 2 stunnas in a Suzuki Esteem were chillin outside with the hood up, i went and looked to see what they were trying to do and they wanted to attach the filet to the OEM rubber intake hose.... i DID go and look for some PVC fittings to make it work for them, but nothing fit, so they try insulting me, so i just shrug and say sorry, and no-chalantly glance over at my car sitting in the corner where it isn't noticeable, and walk off... as i am walking back inside i hear one of those guys say "HOLY ****!!! i wonder if that's that dude's car??"

No **** dude, around here "rice" is a n/a Neon coupe with a boost gauge, a tach bigger than a basketball, and a whaletail wing on the back that's so ******* huge (it looks like it actually came off of a real whale; oh, and just try explaining why excessive rear downforce on FWD is not good) it looks like he needs damn wheelie bars just to keep the POS from flipping backwards when he "launches", and I use that word extremely lightly.

Or try an old school Accord sedan at the track with a primed/unpainted scoop hood, primed full bodykit w/unpainted flared fenders, a trunk full of amps/woofers/hydraulics and sitting on chrome 18's (and running high 19's) with enough under/in-car neon to light up the dark side of the moon; but he wonders out-loud why ******* mini-vans full of toddlers driven by soccer moms are straight smoking his *** like an unfiltered Camel at stoplights.

edit- boosted: Dude, you should have done a ******* smoky burnout so huge that it gave them black lung disease. They better be glad I'm not you and driving "The Beast", they'd probably be coughing up gravel, sucking on oxygen masks and still choking and **** now.

there's no difference between the hks and reactive filters, except for the little badge on top. You pay $40 more for the hks.

 

I would have qualified as to why they were wanting to put a filter on that POS.... Usually it gets a little funnier when they go to the next level of thought......
