D16vtec, b18a???

just wondering what motor would be quicker...in a CRX???and what do yah prefer???post some et times wit mod's!! thanks!!

Personally I think twin cam all the way. Although I do like the z6 and the y8 I just personally feel that the twin cam pulls better from third gear and above. Just my oppinion. I have a friend that has a 92'cx with a d16y8 in it and before I did the b16 head swap to my b18a we raced and I pulled from 3rd gear on.

all i gotta say is waht exactly ur budget
SOHC are more cheaper, have a lot of aftermarket support and u can basically find them everywhere

and for my opinion just check my signature

Sohc VTEC is a great motor, I loved it. I would get another one.

well i gotta d16z6 laying around...my car is still stock wit the stock HF motor..."that thing is weak!!!"

anyways i just need a motor to put in and play with while i set a motor to the side and built it.....what kind of times would you get for a d16z6 in EF (HF)....possible of low 15's???
