Default Will a Tial 35mm WG hold over 20psi of boost???

Just what the topic sais. I am planning on boosting over 20psi about 24psi. Will the 35mm WG hold that pressue??? And if not what WG should I look into that is sufficiently small.

Thanks,

35mm is good for 1.5Bar and the 40mm is good for 1.6Bar - Those numbers are for the HP series and in case you dont know what the HP series is , it has a 35mm bottom with 40mm top for higher boost.

think about how the wastegate plays a role in teh turbo system....It allows exhaust gas to get routed around the turbine so it doesn't create boost pressure by spinning the turbo. If you wastegate isn't large enough you will not beable to flow enough exhaust gasses through it and they will go into the trubo and create boost.

Unless your turbo is very small and needs a lot of bypassing, the 35mm tial would be fine....if you are running 20-24Psi I'm guessing that your turbo is big enough not to need a lot of bypassing. But then again, at those boost ranges, you might need a bigger WG.

What Motor/Turbo is this?

Thanks for your comments, that is exactly what I was thinking, but on importparts.com it says that the 35mm Tial is good for up to 20psi with boost controller and this did not make sense.

Anyways I am running a b18c with a to4e 57 trim .60/.63ar
