Picked up 98 #1141 for a song with JDM clip. Just two weeks later and dumb doe commits suicide on my right front! Not even time to swerve. OUCH.

Now it's time for a right JDM headlight unit and cover (among other things). How do I tell for sure whether existing units are HID or not?

If you have big black boxes behind the projector with white and orange stickers on it, then you have HID, if there is nothing, then you don't.

The HID projector is also smaller than the non-hid.
