anybody with a b16 swap from hmotorsonline
just got mine-not in yet. replace your waterpump, timingbelt, altbelt, plugs, etc. depending on what tranny you get, you might have to get an integra int shaft to be able to use teg axles.i got an s1 tranny but looked at pics of intermed shafts and looks like i got lucky and already have the teg one.ive replaced all the mentioned parts and when i get my mounts she's ready to go in
sorry,i did get ecu(pr3) and linkage, and axles(believe they are sir axles)and s1trann. i held out on mounts cause i thought i could beat the price online-but looks like i'll be getting the hasport ones from steve@hmotorsonline peace
i got mine from steve... you technically dont have to buy anything but the mounts and linkage to get it in your car but its a good idea to do a quick tune-up and inspection of parts to make sure that your motor will last a long time and be in good condition when you start drivin it
The intermediate shaft that comes with the S1/J1 is the same as the 2nd gen Integra so of course you use teg axles. JDM=usdm as far as 2nd gen integra axles go. The ABS axles are same too, but they have the hardware for the wheel speed sensor, which can be removed.

I just got my swap done. I had hmotorsonline send me my b16. They were one week late sending it, but I didn't mind more time to get extra goodies. I had a lot of trouble seeing that they gave me the wrong driver side axle but I had to have a custom one built for me. Then we noticed that the pressure plate was gone so I had to replace that. Other than that Its fine. The motor is very clean and runs really good. Over all it cost more than I had expected but I happy with it. Oh and HCP sucks I bought their mounts and the rear one didn't fit on my HF. I had to use the stock rear mount. I will be going and getting the new hasport mounts.
i got my b16 from steve at honda motors online. it took longer then he said it would have...i didnt want to wait for the option of having lasd, jus got standard. the sir1 b16 kit comes with almost everything u need. mine came with, motor, trans, complete head and all accessories, shift linkages, ecu, and jdm harness...
the only things that i bought to make it work were the following....new throttle cable, new timingbelt and water pump, stk. type r clutch, i resurfaced the stk. flywheel, and radiator hoses (upper hose: 93 integra LS...and lower hose...92-93 gsr hose (off of b17 motor) only ones that fit.!!) good luck...lemmie know if u have n e questions?!!1
