I need HELP!!!!
Okay, so My friend has a '91 Civic hatch, 1.5 litre with a problem...
It misfires when it's at WOT. (wide open throttle) There are NO modifications to this car, and it has 160k miles on it. It's sitting in my garage and he really needs to get home. Do any of you guys have any Ideas? This problem has gotten progressively worse over the past month. I*'m thinkin fuel system, as it's the old PGM-FI system, but I really only know the most common problems with Porsche/Audi products. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the check engine light on?
How long ago was the fuel filter changed?
How about the distributor cap and rotor?
Are the plug wires working properly (no arcing)?
Whats the fuel pressure
i had a similar problem and it went away after new plug wires.
Really common for the coil to fail
not much help am i?
