Muz has one made form a company that makes WRX racing braces and such, it's a company called Whiteline..

 

Many people think the DiGrappa x-brace is the best. I don't think it interferes with the oil drain bolt, and it's construction is superior to other x-braces. However, it's a bit pricey ($300-400).

 

i got the muz one for my s2k im istalling it today. basicly judged my purchase on how easy it was to do an oil change after teh brace was installed.... i thought about buying the spoon one , but this one has a wider opening for the oil to go threw.

 

I have seen the DiGrappa in silver and black.

Is there optional colors?
Is it anodized or powdercoated?

as far as the muz brace im pretty sure thats the only color they are available in. im going to install mine in about an hour or so

I believe they also come in anodized red and blue. You also have the option of powdercoating it at an extra cost. Check http://www.ricks2k.com. I believe he only sells them at certain times through groups buys because they are not mass-produced.

I like the spoon cuz its jdm, but it sucks that u have to take it off when changeing the oil. You actually don't have to, but oil gets all over the brace if you don't.

 

Don't listen to Kekoa..he likes Mugen stuff on his S2k...heheh...

SO? Its Oil, get a rag and wipe it off, I can't believe someone would even weigh their X Brace Choices by the fact that some oil might get on it.

 

rain and snow has limited me to install time and i havent gotten a chance to install it....and its from austraila hence the ADM not USDM

 

One very good x brace was left out is the Cusco brace. It's very nice and I had it on my last s2. I have the Spoon x brace on now and there isn't much difference. For the price and the quality. My opinion is the Spoon. Hope that will answer your question.

 

I have MUZ's Whiteline x brace. I think it's the best.
