ok i have 86 crx si. I am putting b18c5 in it. when buying the springs what should they be rated at?? each spring?? how much can each spring take???

If it is an 86 you don't have springs in the front.

The b18c5 will fit, it may require moving the raditor a little.

Don't put down 1st gens, the part market maybe suck but these cars are great.

OPM Motorsports( http://opmmotorsports.com ) has everything you need... bigger torsion bars, Koni/Tokico's, rear springs..

Front has Torsion bar set up....

The above link has EVERYTHING....

Cal OPM and talk to them... they can recomend EVERYTHING you need... you might have to wait for Tbars because there having a problem with getting them... have a set of 23mm(stock is 19MM) I got way before the shortage...

I would recomend NO LESS then a 27 MM tbar.. which will be harsh as **** for street use.. but the weight will offset that with a b series....

The rear... OPM has coil overs... but Ground control sells the for less... I would as for a 350LB spring in the back....

Shocks... You got a ton of choices.... I got a set of unused Tokico Illuminas you can buy off me for less then what you would pay for them on OPM or ground controls sites.

Misinformation. The swap WILL work. The B18C5 is the same size as a b16, only 7 or 8 mm taller.
