Default Power steering

I remember in the Civic Si challenge, Sport Compact Car's Si eventually had its power steering pump and fluid removed to save weight and reduce parasitic drag. Can you do this on a Type R? Does anyone drag race like this, or anything?

Yes you can do this to a Type R. Someone had a dyno plot showing a noticeable horsepower increase by removing it, but I'm too lazy to do a search for you.

EDIT: I was j/k. I'm always glad to help: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=42863
