JDM Piston stats
Does any one know where I can get the specs for pistonsin a 92-96 Prelude H22A. I want to have JE make exact replicas but I need to provide them with the info. They don't carry them. All the have are 9.0:1, 10.0:1 and 11.5:1
I'm want 10.6:1
Anyone

Anyone
why would you do that? What's so special about 10.6:1 compression?
ANd besides if JE can't figure out how to make 10.6:1 on an H22a piston with a stock combustion chamber they don't know what they are doing.

I am rebuilding my engine up before I put my supercharger on and I want everything to be stock configuration ie pistons, rods etc. I am just getting stronger replacements. Crower titanium valve springs and retainers, crower rods, crower valve. I am about to buy sleeves but I have to find a place to install them. Like I said , everything to stock figures. Just a hell of alot stronger.
What do you mean you have a pair if I want them. Is that hinting theres a price or your just looking to get rid of them.

I wouldn't go 10:6:1 w a supercharger....I think lower would be a better option for u especially if u want to run a different pulley for more boost... Tuning is so important for u if ur going higher compression w boost...

get their off the shelf 10 or 11:1 pistons and save some ## jdm h22 has 10.6:1 and usdm has 10:1 compression. im assuming you are gona run a JRSC. those things work well with higher compression and good tuning. DONT skimp out on the tuning. big injectors, bigger fuel pump and some sort of standalone engine management. im partial to the aem ems

While my block is getting resleeved somewhere, I still haven't found a place, I am sending the supercharger to Endyne where they completely rebuild it and supply me with different pulleys that increase the boost. I wanted to stay with 10.6:1 because CAZ in Arizona isn't having a problem with his and he has a JDM motor also. And I can vouch that his car hauls ***.
I don't plan on running low boost. With a completely built engine and built supercharger I want 275HP and about 13lbs of Boost.

When you come to AZ for the install, make sure you let me know, I'd like to check it out.
Personally, I'd go with 10:1. That should be a VERY fun motor if you do all the mods you listed and crank up the boost after tuning.

Dude you are being dumb for wanting 10.6:1 compression. Just get an off the shelf piston. It's all about tuning. get 10-1 or even 9-1 if you plan on high boosting
Besides you have to understand the higher the compression is, the less psi of boost you need to to make the same power.....know what I mean?
