Default Shocks

Does anyone know where to purchuse performace shocks at a reasonable price in Georgia? NOPI charges $80 for Tokico shock per shocks.

I've heard lotta bad things about tokico blue. Get KYB, Koni or Bilstein. There are some in groupbuycenter.com or you can get them from tiredirect. Personally, I use Bilstein HD on my 'ccord.

i had tokico's on my accord... have them for 2 years, daily driver, cleveland potholes. 18's in the summer, oem 16's in the winter.. shocks were fine. they are non-adjustable. i think they are just ok.. nothing fancy. are you planning on auto-x the accord??? if not, they should be ok. I had neuspeed sport lowering springs and it was ok. On my other car, i'm going with kyb's, but for the price, tokico blues are fine.

I have a 5 speed. I have Neuspeed 1.8 drop springs. I spoke to serveral people and they told me that I should really worry about getting any expesive shocks KYB will be fine. Just cut the bump stop in half. How about the camber kit? should I get the angle kit or the entire arm.

with a 2" drop (after it settles) you will more than likely need a camber kit ...........
or someone that will give you free tires..

Tell me about it. I drop the Automatic accord I had traded in for this 5 speed one and I went through 6 sets of used tires in 1 year. That's why this time I will make sure I get the camber kit at least for the front. The back didn't wear at all. Thanks

Everyones car and springs settle different. I have seen a few people with KYB AGX's and Neuspeed Sports that just needed an alignment with no EXTREME or MEDIUM premature tire wear. Just drop it, then get an alignment, take it from there. I'm waiting for my AGX's so I can put on my Sports.
