I'm thinking about getting some shocks for my ej8 that would increase street performance a bit but not be too stiff for driving. The car is lowered 1.5" on tokico springs and stock shocks. The shocks aren't blown, I just want to improve the handling, but still keep it daily drivable.

Before everyone starts chanting Koni Yellows, what shocks would you consider that are in the ~$300 range?

Tokico Blues are really cheap, but non-adjustable.

Tokico Illuminas can be had for <$400 on eBay if you shop around.

I've owned two sets of Illuminas and they've never done me wrong.

KYB and any Tokico suck ***** and are a hard uncomfortable ride quality
