Last night i ran a 15.2 at 91 mph with my ZC. I have a header, intake, exhaust, fp regulator, test pipe, pg7 ecu, and a 75 shot from a NOS kit. I was dissapointed. Some guys told me they ran a 15.2 with a stock ZC crx. I heard that the NOS kits don't give out the actual horsepower they say they do. Please help out.
I ran a 15.2 in my zc in 1999 just after i did the swap. It had an intake and exhaust on an 88 crx si. Its all in traction. I eventually got it down to a 13.98 on slicks with cams, header, gears, afc....etc..etc, but i could not ever get outa the 15's on radials, would never hook, or it would bog. However, everytime i ran on radials, they were usually pretty worn.

I was spinning a lot because i have radials that have about 30% tread left. I guess your right. Thanks for the advice.
I had a 90 HF w/a ZC, I ran a 15.13 @ ? last yr, I had a I/H/E Aem cam gears,
I believe I was 2Deg advan in Exaust, and 1 retard on the intake cam, and a act clutch, lightened fly wheel, and for the longest time I could'nt break a 15.4, Then I started ****** with the timing and pulled of my cat back and ran that bitch wide open and played with my dizzy, and I pulled a 15.1
Try the timing, Then play around "Lightly" w/ possibly some higher octane fuel, not nessarily race gas, but in all actuality stay away from detonation, w/that NOS, Be cautious as far as your timing goes when spraying, Maybe your way to retarded when spraying, and havent evan reached the fullest potential, getting as close to as possibly before the inevidable happens. Your **** should hold up suprising well w/ a 75 shot. My bet is your timing is off and your compression is leaving the motor too soon? Just a thought..

I ran a 13.84 @99mph with a 65 shot on my ZC powered hatch, this was a 5200 ft above sea level. There is a guy here, in Colorado that ran a 13.9 all motor with a ZC, but his car weighs like 1500 lbs.

Yeah, his name is Matt. Stock motor w/ open exhaust, and stock suspension - that's 12's at sea level. He's a cool guy. He's doing my gsr swap next week.

I ran 15.2 with my zc on my 89 hatch with intake and headers and stock std exhaust piping. also running on stock radials.
even with radials, with nitrous, you should be well into 14's
