What's a good HALF size aluminum radiator for a CRX?
I'm looking for a new radiator, the stock one cracked at the top. I found the fluidyne one but it's a full radiator. I'm removing the A/C so I'm only looking for a half sized one. Will the 92-95 Civic Fluidyne radiator (half size) fit into the CRX?
will it drop right in? or will modifications be required? also are you tlking about the 92-95 year radiators?
its taller than the stocker, so you either have to lean it back or cut out the supports on the hood above the radiator cap...I am dealing with that situaltion now, trying to find a JimFab like set-up tat will allow me to run a 93 small radiator fitting stock like the Place Racing cross member but i want to eliminate the radius rodd bushings....

Unless you get an aftermarket cross memeber, the 92-99 radiator will fit like ****( I know, I've done it). It's way too tall. Get a Place Racing cross member and you'll be in business.
I ordered mine the other day, here is a topic about it, and I orderd mine from Afterhourzracing. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=423580

you can use the stock radiator for a good couple months. get your turbo and motor put it. I am using my stock radiator for a couple months. You know the setup I have in my crx. then go with the 92-95 Civic Fluidyne Radiator and get a z10 crossmember and be happy.
bro get a custom pwr one.i had them make me one that has the same surface arear as a 92-95 raditator.its about 3 inches thick.it was cheaper than a fluidyne i think.if you have any questions IM me

Get the NON-VTEC Delsol radiator. It is made by CSF, all metal, and is dual core. It's what I'm using, and it works great! And at only about 110 bucks, you can't beat it!

its from a 75 Civic
here is my little 'write up'
fits ok, there is nothing holding it in or in place besides the radiator hoses
but works pretty good. would work a little better if that radiator fan sensor wasnt on the bottom of the radiator (its on the back of the block on a CRX/Civic), i bought a plug for it but im being lazy. plus the coolant drain **** is on the oppisite side. im using the stock CRX crossmember for now... fell free to ask more questions if you have them...

I'm sure it's possible, but I'm sure it will need to be hacked up pretty good to fit at all. Even with my JimFab, I had to cut several places out of the hood for clearance.
If you want a half size radiator that fits without most of the hacking, go for the half size neon. They use the same mounting points as the CRX, but it's half size. The only reason I didn't is because I couldn't find a cheep place that sells them brand new.
