Hey guys. I'm new to the board...but here is my turbocharged RSX Type-S. I was the prototype car for Ultimate Racing's turbo kit Here are some pics. Please note that the kit is slight un-finished...after it is done...everything will be polished.

















My car is running 6psi boost right now daily driven. We dyno'd the car last night and here are the numbers:

270.8 whp
[201.8 ft.lbs

Darryl from Ultimate Racing told me that he will post the dyno charts and video of the dyno later on today for everyone to see.

the dyno was performed on a Dynojet.

 

firehazzard just waiting to happen ...but should be very quick ....now get a LSD ...to make use of all that power

 

wouldn't LSD only work on cornering such as in a rapping track?

I dont think it would work as a daily traction control to limit the tire slips when launching. well correct me if I'm wrong.

 

lsd would definitely help in str8 line traction. what fuel and ignition upgrade/ changes are on the car? good numbers!

Care to elaborate on the fire hazard theory? Are you referring to the turbo placement or something else that i'm not seeing?

Wow, looking good. My only concern is the rather large flat spot in the midrange. Is that gonna be fixed?

 

heat won't be an issue. since the air will flow through the intercooler and will be cooled down before going into the turbine.

I will be heading to the drag strip next Wednesday to record my 0-60mph and 1/4 mile time. I'll also post them here, when they become available.

but.. 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time depends on many things beside the turbo itself.
