well after almost 9 months of bullcrap, finally got the R running and on the dyno. the guys at DRT did a hell of a job fixing my injector harness and Ralphy did some magic with the AEM ECU. Needless to say it was very interesting watching him build a complete map from scratch...lights and **** were blinking all over the laptop and I was just like

anyway, here is my best run of the morning. I took a total of 20 runs on the brand new rebuilt motor. Id say the car is "broken in" now lol. there are still some things that need to be worked out, and we didnt get to mess with the cam settings too much(only 3 runs), plus Im still running the stock exhaust, so I was pleased with the results for the day. still needs some dyno time, and its definitely not ready for the street yet. any of you tuners out there have any suggestions as far as you can tell from the chart?

Cool, 2.5 exhaust and some cam gear tuning and you can probably hit 210whp.

Vtec at 6200? Did you try to lower it to 5500?

 

didnt get a chance to mess around with it that much. I think we ended up setting redline around 9500, where on the graph that run shows like 8 something. I think we will mess around with VTAK! more when I get the car back down there. Im hoping to smooth out the torque curve some as well but I think all that is just playing with a/f.

Judging by the graph and 6200 RPM VTEC, I know there is at least bigger cams possible TODA, JUN, Crower, and Skunk2 cams. My guess is Toda Spec Bs or Cs with a 12:1 Cr.
