Default Anyone Who Has Replaced their 6 X9 Sub in a 4th Gen Please Help

I'm going to replace my 6 x9 subwoofer in my 95 vtec. How should i wire it to get it to work with the stock amp. The stock sub just plugs in the amp could i transfer that to the new speaker and can you? I heard that if you replace the cd player with an aftermarket one the sub won't work either. I just want some wiring guidance to get it to work properly.

I don't get it, if you are just changing the speaker everything will still work.

i've heard that the sub will work for the radio but it won't work for cds in an aftermarket deck. I also want to use the stock amp which a plug is needed. Should i transfer the plug from the old 6 x 9 to the new one?

huh? The amp is like a tiny 3x3 box underneath the 6x9 speaker. It's pretty useless. If you ever change the deck and the speaker just run a REAL amp to your rear speakers including the 6x9.

It won't. If the deck you get is bridgeable just bridge the two rear channels to get a center channel.
