Toda Killer road tuning video and another P1 Automotive "shop toy" arrived today!! (Long)
A long *** day for Bob and I @ the shop, Long story short... Dyno was suppose to show up yesterday, didn't happen, truck broke down in WVA night before Soooo we keep the fork lift for another day and wait for the arrival today. We really had no idea as to what type of truck would show and how it was loaded and where.
As it figures, the covered 18 wheeler was loaded from a loading dock...(daymit) All we had was a "rated" 3700 pound fork lift, engine hoist (today was it's last day of living) and some chains. The dyno was 181 inches by 44 inches (wide little bastard) but the slacker at the loading dock stuffed the heavy end in first and ALLLL the way at the FRONT of the trailer (double daymit) so us NC "rednecks" start pulling out the chains and Cummins turbo dodge and begin the 1st annual "Sunbelt rental forklift" and Dodge Ram 250 tractor pull, sponsored by P1 Auto!!!! (:SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!
and begin the long process of yanking, pulling, scratching, bleeding, leveraging that heavy bitch out to the back of the trailer.
Once she gets there, the forks where only 5 feet long and the heavy end was still in the front portion of the trailer (triple daymit) so the "we-todd" in me takes over.
I grabbed the engine hoist and hung the bastard full tilt in the wind and told the driver to "ease" the truck forward...
as he inched forward I was to intercept the heavy end as it neared the back of the trailer.
******, she was out of the trailer... but one problem the fork lift was rated "3700" and the dyno was over 5,000!!!! (*** end of the lift, full tilt in the wind lol) (lots of daymits) it would not lift the whole unit, just one corner or the other. So as the *** end of the lift bounced up and down off the ground, I drove it to the door. 181 wide while the door was 140 (more daymits than you can count) He, he, actually we knew about this problem, just didn't need it at this point and time. Anylay, blah, blah, yap, yap yap, It was an experience to say the least. Rollers are now level and firmly planted in the new shop!!
See "busted ***, ghetto" lift in background
Also, got to do a little road tuning on the killer kar today
: throttle plates still set to stop @ about 75% (will run WOT once on wide band)
: single digit base timing, for now.
Really starts to pull @ 6500ish then, "bam" rev limit. Kool for now, after the oil change, she'll see move revs.
Enjoy

By the way, what function do the big metal cyclinders, located next to the bag of 'extra bolts' in the last picture, have in the workings of a dyno.
I wish I had a dyno, I'd dyno everything for fun.
Wow that was quite a teaser hehe. You MUST make another when everything is ready and take her to full redline!
