Anyone have good/bad experience with the Clifford Solaris alarm?

I got mine...
I think I like it..
No problem at all....
(check if your tach will go above 84K RPMs after installing..)
For me, the solaris got waay too many features... I like it simple.

 

My friend has it on his Jeep Grand Cherokee and loves it. No problems with it. He has the BlackJax on it also which makes it a bit of a pain cause he has to punch in a code everytime he starts the car, but he doesn't seem to mind.

I think it is a good all around car.

 

Thanks for the input. Sounds like a nice alarm. Does it come with the blackjacks? Or do you have to buy that separately?

My friend said when he got his that BlackJax came with it; and that they were running a special so he could choose an additional free option so he got auto start.

Check with whoever your Clifford dealer is locally and ask them what comes with the Solaris. When i was looking at them most Clifford models came with pretty much everything you needed. Plus, around here in Chicago (not sure how it is by you) most clifford dealers will negociate options, etc.
