they are quick according to what i read in one of the mag's last week- like 13.xx in teh 1/4 stock--it's just that launch that's hard to get down. give us a follow up once you figure out how to launch that beast
dont worry im breakin it in properly - so properly that i left it at home for the week to let my dad break it in for me. i live at school 4.5 hours away from home and you know ur not supposed to do any steady high way driving. the car hasnt been over 4200 rpm yet. and it was never test driven, got it with 4 miles
has around 180 miles now, pops is enjoying every minute of breaking it in. damn i wanna go home! pops is enjoying it so much he might trade his S2000 in for one
ill have mpegs of 1/4 runs, random driving and mpegs of an april 6 autocross event!!!!! hopefully ill get a full 3 inch exhaust turbo back within the next 2 weeks!!! booooooooost is backkkkkkkkk

Yea, those evo8's look bad ***...I checked one out yesterday at the dealership. msrp was like..30,xxx.xx My buddy is going to pick it up, another question, Do you think you can fit the lancer taillights in the evo8? To get rid of the "altezzas"
the lancer tails are a completely different shape. I saw a post somewhere someone took the tails off a JDM EVO 7 which is basically like the US evo8 only instead of having the chrome inner housing its all red, so it blends in better looks more like a normal tail and less like an altezza.
congrats- looks nice in Black-
I test drove a red one this past weekend.
Dealer made me watch a damned video and pass a written quiz on it first!
Couldn't rev it over 5500 (well, 6000) but could feel some good power out of the car. Brakes needed to be heated up a bit to bite at all, but the handling seems really nice.
Not a bad looking car, either. It's amazing what a nice set of wheels, a new hood, and some side skirts will do to a Lancer.

It just seems weird to me that you would go from a Civic Si to a Evo 8. Such a stark contrast in price, why did you go with the Si in the first place if you can afford such an expensive ride?
Nitpicking aside, congrats on the purchase of an awesome, unique, fast-as-**** ride!
