Oh I see, is it the fact that the DX is dpfi the reason why it wont work on his Si?

anyone know a price from Honda or is it best to hit up a junkyard and try and find one... the problem is, I think my bearing is going bad... When I drive for a while, like 50 plus miles (which isnt too often) I throw a code 4 (crank posistion) I read somewhere on here that it is cause the dizzy's bearing gets hot and sets off some of the sensors in the area... The dizzy is also Mad loud especially at higher RPMs...

Don't get one from a junkyard, you will have no clue as to what condition it is in. Try getting a rebuilt one from an autoparts store (preferably one with a lifetime warranty). I do believe Honda charges quite a bit for a new dist., but I haven't looked in almost two years.

i got my rebuilt dizzy for $165 after core exchange, so expect to pay around 150-175 for a rebuilt one. Hes right about not getting a junkyard one because you have no idea what its been through and could still have a problem. In my case, my bearing seized.

Yes that is part of the reason, there is a cylinder postion sensor in the dist. of Si's and HF's that tell the injectors when to fire. With the DX's there is no sensor cause the injector just fire basically whenever since itsa getting all of the fuel from one common place.
