Im moving the clutch from one car to the other, so how do get it to grab just as well as when it was new? should i just lightly sand it? Rocket, 2K-Teg,Action Aficionados?

 

Awhile back, Rocket mentioned sandblasting the disk.

i dont have access to a sandblaster is the problem. would i get close to the same effect just sanding it? if so, what grit would be good?

 

the ghetto way -- get find sand paper and go around the face of the flywheel lightly(alot of pro racers at the track do this) and and alot of brake or carb cleaner to make sure grease doesnt get on the contact and surface area this = hot spot and slippage

the right way-- check the clutch kit and take the flywheel to get resufaced and reinstall
