I was thinking the other day.
"Hmmm, I've been to hundreds of car show on the east coast, I see alot of cool mods but i never seen anybody remove the stock steering wheel from a 4th gen accord & replace it with a sport wheel & still mount the controls for the cruse control buttons.
Point blank. Im sick of my factory wheel but I dont wanna lose my CC.
Can anybody help?

1. I'd say just relocate the switch to somewhere else. Trace the wires through the steering wheel connection. If you can remove them, do so, and relocate the swithes somewhere esle. If the wires are hard wired in there or there's something not alowing you remove the wires then splice into them below the column, add some extra wire length and continue to relocate (in the change tray?).
2. Pick up a factory cruise switch at a local junk yard. Dismantle and see what is would take to rebuild or reuse the internals (may be a small resistor board in there, but not sure). Then start shopping for a new wheel. You may have to get creative with mounting to the wheel. Like transplant the resistor board and use two radio shack push button switches or something. Lots of variables there so be patient.
Be original. Obviously no one has done this (or very very few) so get out there and do it yourself. Then spread the word. That's how new car fads get going. How do you think the Legend/V6 brake swap came into being?
