Re: AP2 steering wheel in Civic
It is not hard to do. Took me all of 2 hours. Hardest part was wiring the cruise control buttons so that they're fully functional.
You have to remove your old steering wheel. (I used this link - https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...ring+how+wheel)
Once its off the S2K wheel will slide right on. Make sure the airbag is separate from the rest of the wheel to make this ten times easier, plus you can't finish it up if the airbag is on anyway. After you slide the wheel on its time to hook everything up. The horn plug will slide on where the yellow circle is
In order to get the cruise control working you will have to work with the harness thats in the red circle in the above picture. You will have to de-pin it and re-pin it in this order from left to right it is black/white, black/orange, and black/red (I believe that is the correct order, I will go and check for sure later when its not freaking cold).
The SRS plug fits right in with the old 96-00 plug so you shouldn't need any guidance with that.
You should be good to go after that. If you have an questions feel free to ask.
thats what she looks like in the car. Sorry for the crappy pics, but my cellphone is only so good lol.
EDIT - edited for correct pin order.

Get a T30 Torx head, MUST have it to take out the airbag, or you will strip the bolts and be out of luck. You will also need a 19mm socket for the big nut that holds the wheel on. Also a Phillips head screw driver for the cruise control screws, but other than that, that is all you need.
