My friend has a 03 Civic SI. He is looking into the Eibach Pro-Kit setup for his car.

I have done lowering springs on my mustang, and feel confident I can do the job no problem(even though I dont know whats involved yet).

Is a spring compressor necessary for these springs and removal of the stock ones?
Can you rent one? Anything particular that needs to be specific about the spring compressor?

Im guessing a how too would probably look like:
Remove wheel. Remove brake caliper. Remove brake disk, remove roll bar links, remove steering link from spindle. Place jack under control arm(???), place spring compressor on spring, remove strut nut from top. Lower jack so that strut and spring are low enough so that after you unbolt strut from spindle you can remove.

Sound right?
