ok i am having a problem with my primer i sanded down my whole car and got it all primered black getting ready to take it to the paint shop but the primer looks blotchy kinda. like it has darker areas then others. i was wondering if this will make a difference when the car gets painted or not? or should i sand it all down again and redo it in the gray primer so you wouldnt notice the "blotchy " parts? or so it wouldnt be as noticeable

 

I noticed the same thing. Like the areas under the filler. I'm going to do the primer again but I'd like to know the answer to your question too. Good Luck

I think the primer is supposed to look real blotchy. Even gray primer shows streaks and darker patches, no? Now you shouldn't take my word on this, but I am pretty sure that is normal.

 

yeah im not positive either. after i get my tranny back in the car i am just gonna take it to the paint shop and have them do what ever needs to be done with it. it just needs to be painted so i can trade it in for a 6th gen white hatch.
