Default It's Summer Time! A/C help Needed!

Guys,
I have a 95 GSR and my ac doesnt work. It blows luke warm air. SO I go out and I see a kit for 134a and a pressure test comes with it for 25 bucks. I follow the instructions and I take a pressure reading of 45psi. The kit says this is way too high. Can anyone help? Any ac people in here? Yes the compressor is engaging and everything else seems fine. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

If j00 can actually hear the compressor clutch engage, then j00 might be low on refrigerant. I'm not sure of the process of purging/adding refrigerant to the car. All I know is that at my dad's shop, they have some machine that sucks refrigerant out, I think that's what it does, and puts refrigerant back in. Also check to see if there isn't a leak in the A/C lines. Use one of those neat looking dye and glass thingey...LoL...I had fun playing with those. They also have a special tool out that beeps if there is any refrigerant leaking. Good Luck

Its not leaking refergerant becauuse there is too much in there according to the kit. Is there such a thing as too much? Also, How much does it cost to have it recharged?

What is this kit that j00r talking about? I haven't heard of such things...

As for the A/C recharge...prices range between 60-120 dollars depending on where and what kind of machine they use...

Interdynamics makes the kit. I consists of 1 can of 134A and a low side pressure guage. I bought it at Pep boys for like 25 bucks. It includes directions and pressures the guage should be reading. But mine is way higher than it should be. It is reading 45psi. Can anyone help?

Yeah too much can do damage, they refilled my friends Integra... and actually blew a hose... messed it up. Had to do some minor repairs.
