Can u install a autometer shift lite without the tach?

 

I did for my EK. I had a adjustable shift light. i had to run one of the wires into the neg - on the distributor. one to a ground and one to the + on the battery. After that it worked fine. at the time my EK didnt have a tach.

 

ya you can whether or not your car has a tach, it still has the tach signal wire running from the dizzy to the back of your gauge cluster, just find the tach wire (i believe blue and yellow) on the dizzy, tap in to that, find a power and good ground and mount and you should be set to go!!
