anyone have this problem with a wings west kit.
I have a wings west type-w kit and my back add on piece to the bumper is slowly comin off. Anyone know how to fix this. I think your suppose to just take off the old tape and put new double sided tape on, but what kind. Can u just get some double sided tape they sell at stores or is it a special kind i need. Thanks.

yes yes yes... if you ever find a way, let me know. I have put a few extra screws to help hold it on. I cannot seem to find an adhesive stong enough to hold it. Mine is only peeling a little aronud the corners. Still annoying though.
Take it to a body shop and sculpt the piece w/ bondo on your stock bumper. This way you won't have the dreaded spoiler line and your bumper will stay on forever

Dude...don't bondo it.
I don't like bondo - and neither do people who do quality paint work.
Just REDO the taping - using the 3M stuff.
This time use more.

Yea...never met one "GOOD" paint guy that likes bondo.
I shaved my license holes and front emblem...most people use bondo to fill the holes - which i hear will crack after some time. My guy...melted the holes shut, reinforced the back, and put a patch across it.
Maybe I'm wrong - I just hear bondo isn't the greatest thing.
Secondly...he wants to know how to keep the bumper lip from coming off - not know to mold the lip on and have to repaint everything. Which i guess is "A WAY" but - not the simple and inexpensive way. To mold a lip on - I would guess you would have to repaint the bumper. That's pretty extreme.

just Screw IT works really good. the more screws the better. The only thing bad about this method is that you have holes in your bumper. BUT NOTHING HORRIBLE.
