Purchased a Headunit yesterday, now what am I to do? My final system I want to get better splits at the front, keep the stock 6x9s in the back for fill and two 10" subs...with power going to the splits and the subs through a sinlge amp....

So Ive got the headunit, what should I upgrade next? Im thinking the speakers, but they wont be amplified until I get the subs....

 

Oh, and would I need a new battery to run all this?

Well first off, i want to know what headunit you got!, just to know.....IMO, i would get the speakers inside the car next, and i would change the rear's too... Then get you amp for the inside "a 4-channel.", then get your subs and another "2 channel", then your all good, get some nice 4 gauge, or 2 guage wire and a CAP. and your all good. No need for an extra batt.

Now that is what I would do u do what you want!! ha

here is a good decent setup, A good headunit, a pair of good components in the front with crossover and tweeters, a good pair of 6x9 in the back, a four channel 400 watt amp to power the four speakers, 2 12" subs in the back with a 2 channel 800-up amp to power the subs
