Default please help or explain, i also posted over in drag.

alright i fired up the race car tonight. first off, no FP. next i ran the car for a few minutes. i shut off the car and i noticed the fuel pump wasnt on. could someone explain how the motor was pullin enough fuel from the fuel cell to the rail and keep on tickin???? please explain.

If you shut the car off then the fuel pump is going to shut off too. You can hear the fuel pump when the car is running and when you turn the key to the on position just before you start the car. What do you mean no fuel pressure? you mean there was no fuel pressure before you started the car or no fuel pressure while the car was running?

the fuel pump is a stand alone system, no more stock fuel tank. i figured it out. i had the return line on the bypass side of the regulator so the regulator wasnt allowed to regulate. all it was doin was goin straight from the fuel cell though the pump, to the fuel line through the regulator and back to the cell. no pressure. o well time to order another #6AN fitting.
