Default 4 wire o2 in 92' cx with p72

I just installed a b16a2 into a 92cx and converted it to obd1 with p72. I installed the new o2 sensor and ran the heater wire to the ecu and used the existing 1(white) wire that was already there and ran it to the white wire on the 4 wire. I am getting a code 41 which is heater o2. I don't know why it is throwing this code when it is hooked up correctly. THe other wires are black and green which are tied together and grounded. Anyone got any ideas why code 41 is showing up??

ps. not positive it code is 41(cant remember), but I do know it is related to heater O2.
btw, when o2 is unplugged it still throws same code when running.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have "searched" and found no answers.
