i am going to put all my stuff from my crx in this 91 4dr dx .
tell me what you thank any input will be nice

But my ? was will my hood work from my crx si to 91 4dr dx

crx si = 2174 lbs.
4dr. civic dx= 2255 lbs.
not to much weight to get rid of.

Yes the hood will fit without a problem.

 

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that only the CRX and Civic hatch hood interchanged? I thought the 4dr was longer and/or wider.

 

aren't the headlights different too? If so, that could create an issue where it's supposed to latch..........

 

The CRX/HB hood and the sedan hood are different. The sedan hood isnt interchangeable with them because of the size. Thats why a lot of sedan owners want CF hoods because nobody makes CF hoods for our cars and HB and CRX hoods wont fit.

Wont fit. You can get the jdm clip for that car, and it comes with a sir style hood.

 

I don't think the hoods are exchangeable on the crx's and civic h/b's either. I remember when my friend mangled my car I had a crx hood available and the bodyman told me it wouldn't fit, nor do the headlights or front bumper and fenders. Correct me if im wrong people..

 

actually the civic and crx hoods are exactly the same, they are completly interchangeable, but since the foor door is just that a foor door it is longer and the hood is longer also, the front bumper is not interchangeable between the civic/crx because of the filler plate, the headlights im sure are interchangeable also, its just how they are mounted

edit:the civic hb and crx headlights interchange with eachother i believe

There are so many people here giving incorrect information, it's not even funny.

Only the Civic Hatch and the CRX use the same hood.

 

sedan hoods are bastard hoods

 

i got a crx hood on my civic, so same ****. 4-door hoods are a little bigger yes.

 

CRX bonet will fit onto sedan only if you swap all the front parts to CRX ... that is including bonet,bumpers,fenders and headlamps. There's some sedans with CRX face in my hometown.

This is off topic but it is about the 90-91 4 door front end. 90-91 hb coner lights fit I just put hb clears on a 90 ex. This week end I am going to fit 90 SI hb front and rear bumpers. If the bumpers don't fit I'll have to let them go for $40. Clean SI black bumpers.
