took my car to the track saturday......
Well I took my car to the track saturday and I was kinda disappointed. My best run at speedworld was 13.8 at 105mph with a shitty *** 60 foot time(2.4). At these trap speeds I think I should be in the low 13's or high 12's, then again I was on street tires. Any comments or tips are welcome.
thats good times man, i am probably gonna go to speed world this Wed. Hope i run in the 15's, it will be the first time i run at the track ever, I have an 89 hatch with B16 with aem CAI and Flowmaster 40 with 2" piping and high flow cat. what do you think i can run????
I would say you should run in mi to low 14's. I was at a track here in NC and a 89 hatch had a b16 in it and was running mid 14's all day with just exhaust (shitty at that) and no hood. alot of drag (dummy)

seriously if your just breaking 13s with turbo its gotta be a shotty tunning job or somthing because thats slow for turbo, my friend has a civic hatch with a b16a and it has i/e and it ran a 14.1 consistantly for like 10 passes dunno though you might be higher above sea level than i am dunno good luck
That's not a bad trap at all. Your traction issues are BAD, though.
I went 13.8 @ 102 with a busted turbo on my b16a Turbo, but I was on some crappy 185/65/14 radials off a Civic LX that I borrowed to drive around on for a week or two.
Spun tires all the way through first and second, and spun third bad til it grabbed and took off. At 7500 in third, the car fell on it's face as the turbo shaft decided to eat **** and die. 
Anyway, going from an N/A 14.80 to a broken turbo'd 13.8 I was fairly pleased. With Traction and a full run next time, I can see mid 12's out of this thing at the same power level I was at... IF I wasnt upgrading.

I'm gonna go to firebird on thursday night and see if I could improve my 60 foot time. Thanx for all the feed back fellas. Oh yeah I forgot to say that the car is yet to be dyno tuned, I don't wanna tune it until I get my skunk 2 turbo cams and cam gears. I also might be running my friends slicks at firebird so im looking at getting in the low 13's or maybe even high 12's well wish me luck guys thanx again.
