Right now i have a generic short ram with a brand new filter, but I have been thinking about going back to my stock accord airbox with a drop in k&n. Anybody have this setup? Thoughts?

 

DIY cold air intake. cheap and effective.

why would you go to the stock intake anyway?

 

You just spent thousands of dollars on a motor and you want to plug it up with a stock airbox? an accord airbox no less, make your own CAI or buy one and thank us later

well i spent the thousands 2 years ago.

I have heard that the stock box actually maximizes torque. I have a DIY cold intake that i put on the end of my short ram occasionally. I am just starting to think the stock box looks cleaner.

And i only smoke the finest Humboldt County thank you.

 

I also have my h22 plugged up with my stock EX exhaust

 

if you want stock look/sound but still a better gain then you might want to go with the type s air box. that would be much better than your stock accord air box

 

yea, i like the look/sound of stock box too....

 

stalk air box will give u more torque but if u keep ur cold air u will have better high end. best thing to do is to play around with the stalk air box and make something that u like.

 

yeah try to rig something up useing the stock box. maybe make it a cold air using the stock box?
