Car wont start fuel pump problem?
I have a 91 Integra GS 4-door and it appears that the fuel pump is not working. I am trying to check the ground to the pump but i cant see it. Do i need to drop the tank to check it? I just replaced the fuel filter this afternoon and i am getting spark but i cant figure out wether it is an electrical or mechanical problem. If anybody can help me out it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Check your PGM-FI relay. Try giving the left lower part of your dash a few good hits to see if the relay kicks the fuel pump on. It's very common for the older integ's to have the PGM-FI relay go bad, making people think that the fuel pump is bad and it really isn't
Well i tested the main fuel relay with my multimeter and it checks out fine. I ordered a new fuel pump so we will see if that does the trick. When i did a search it was mentioned a few times that it could be a bad ground and what i am wondering now is where is the fuel pump ground?
did you try the filter? since you have the tank down you could pull the pump out have someone try to start the car and while they do this listen for the pump. if it runs you got a blockage somewhere if not then its electrical. as for the ground i am not sure exactly where it is but i am sure that it is FAR AWAY from the pump and the tank. to keep from sparking. be extra careful when pokeing around with the tank, pump, and test light. the light could make a sparrrrrkkkkk and that wouldn't be good.
