Default Earlier ITRīs revs higher??

Hi!

After installing the Spoon ECU, fuel cut of is at 9000 rpm like specification. But with my original ECU i could also rev until aprox. 8700 rpm.

I thought always, my rev-meter is going wrong, but with spoon ECU it cut off at 9000.

May some ITRīs revs higher than 8400 ???

Or can following be:
The rev-signal comes from the ECU, the Spoon ECU is going more exactly like my original ECU??

Your grammar makes my brain hurt.

How are you reading rpm? On the stock tach?

Keep in mind the stock tach is off, my fuel cutoff is far in the red, even though it's 8400 RPM. My VAFC and tach usually disagree 100-300 RPM

Ok guy, lets talk in German... (Hope you are not able to.. )

Yes i read the rpm from the tacho.

The only thing i dont understand is, that with the Spoon ECU the cut off is at 9000 like it should be. But with stock ECU its above 8400

stock fuel-cutoff is 8600, the posted redline is 8400. Of course, most people find their rev-limiter a few times. Also, as mentioned, the stock tachometer isn't totally accurate at those engine speeds.

And his grammar is superior to the majority of the american population, i'd say...and we don't have the second-language excuse

Actually, the ECU sends the fuel cut signal at 8500rpm Scott.

Wait, let me type it this way.

Scott... did not you notice.. but.. the stock p73... ecu.. programming signals cutting of fuel at 8500.. rpm... my grammer and schpeliong are prefekt.

edit: ITR292: this was not in reference to you, just some of the US citizens who type like that in every post.
