lowered....now what?
just got my 2000 civic lowered but now that ride is more bumpy. what can i get to get a smooth yet lowered ride?
any suggestions?

(1) don't lower it more than 1.5"-2"
(2) put better struts in there. konicos and KYBs can be harsh, bilsteins and konis ride better.
(3) cut your bumpstops in half so the stroke of the struts isn't shortened as much.
(4) use a spring rate that is closer to stock, most are stiffer and therefore ride harsher.

If you want a smoother ride than what you currently have, I'd suggest you get some good aftermarket shocks. That is the only way to smoothen up a lowered ride.
lowering a car harshens the ride. by lowering a car, your springs will be stiffer to compensate for the lower car (so it won't bottom out). like most people said, go with shocks. i enjoy the bumpiness in my car though...but yeah, shocks.
